Overview of the Installation

The factory head unit in the customer’s Kluger was outdated and lacking features. They wanted something with more modern tech and convenience.

We recommended replacing it with a Pioneer. The double DIN touchscreen stereo has built-in Bluetooth for hands-free calling and audio streaming, smartphone integration with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, HD Radio capability, and much more.

To install it properly, we used a Metra dash kit specifically made for the Kluger. This secures the new head unit in place and allows it to fit the factory opening.

We also wired in a backup camera to display on the new Pioneer screen anytime the vehicle is shifted into reverse.
