Alpine Type X Demo Ute
Mission:
Probably best to consult the guys at Alpine on the mission for this vehicle but I'd say that the words "excruciatingly loud" would come into play somewhere.
Control Room: Alpine IVA D310E Motorised screen, PXA H701 Audio processor, RUX C701 Controller, and KCA 420i Ipod interface
Power Plant: 2 x Alpine MRV F345 V12 Amplifiers, 2 x Alpine MRD M605 V12 Amplifiers, and 12 (just in case you missed it's that's twelve) MRD M605 to run the subs.
Running Gear: 2 pairs Alpine SPX 177R (Woofers only mounted in doors), 2 pairs Alpine SPX 107R 4 inch component system for front and rear audio and single SPX 107R component system for centre channel, 1 pair Alpine SPX 137R (Woofers only) mounted in kick trims
Low End: 6 x SWX 1242D Subs in a ported, horn loaded enclosure which vents straight into the cabin.
Accessories: 7 x Stinger Batteries, Stinger stiffening capacitors, and Stinger wiring throughout.

Store: This installation was a joint effort between the Tower Audio Oakleigh Store and Alpine Electronics.
Comments: This is where we get to blow our own trumpet! Tower Audio was responsible for the completion of the interior of the vehicle whilst the guys at Alpine organised the subs at the rear.
This is a truly impressive piece of work and possibly the only vehicle that we know of that can literally give your hair a blow wave!
We need to congratulate the guys at Alpine for taking the initiative to really forge ahead with a demo car that most other car audio manufacturers can only aspire to, and also thank them for wanting Tower Audio to be a part of the project.
Tower Audio are proud to be a part of this project, which has received an abundance of praise within the car audio community and is already winning awards such as the recent Sound and Image awards.
