Vehicle Description: 2005 Holden Astra
Mission: To Build a Demo vehicle capable of demonstrating exactly how good the Alpine and Stinger product combination can really sound in a vehicle with a system design that won't blow the average budget!
Control Room: Alpine CDA 9855 CD/MP3/WMA tuner with KCA 420i ipod interface. The Audio Visual system is driven by the Alpine DVA 5210 DVD player which runs through the Alpine TMX R800 8 inch roof mounted screen.
Power Plant: The Alpine MRV F545 four channel amplifier runs the front speakers and sub, while rear speakers run from the head unit.
Running Gear: Alpine SPR 17LP 6.5 inch R Type component speakers in the front doors and 5 inch R Type woofers in the rear doors.
Low End: A single Alpine SWR 1222D 12 inch R Type Sub woofer in a sealed fibreglass enclosure and inverted mounting (magnet facing out).
Accessories: All accessories including power cable, RCA's, battery, terminals and the NOS style capacitors were supplied by Stinger Electronics and are available in Australia. Our favourite would have to be the distribution block with voltage readout.

This demo vehicle has been set up to allow anyone interested in purchasing a car audio or visual system the opportunity to experience exactly how good an Alpine in-car entertainment system can be without blowing the budget.
The system still runs an impressive 125 Watts RMS to the front speakers and 500 Watts RMS to the Sub woofer which is plenty of volume for most of us who enjoy their music played loud.
This is really a hands-on demo vehicle. In other words you are able to get an in-car demonstration of features such as the Alpine Ipod interface, Digital time correction, and the Alpine rear seat entertainment system.
Tower Audio will definitely have this vehicle at either one of our stores whenever it is available. Otherwise it will be at an Alpine Dealer near you!
